How me and other people access music and My relationship with music
People nowadays, including myself, access music by using streaming platforms like YouTube or its branch platform YouTube Music to listen to music. However, the most common way people access music is through music-streaming platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music for a monthly subscription fee.
My relationship with music started way back when I was in Kindergarten when I was listening to music via a radio. I would usually insert CDs into the radio and I would usually listen to classical music all the time. But as I got older, I eventually got a tablet, and would usually listen to music on YouTube, which offers a wider variety of music genres compared to a CD. Fast forward to the last few years, I started listening to Spotify and currently, it is my go-to way to stream music. Spotify recommends songs that are in the same genre that I usually listen to by creating multiple mixtapes made for me. It also keeps me up to date with the releases of my favorite artists and even a place where I can buy concert tickets or buy the artists' merch. Plus, one of my favorite features of Spotify is that it allows us to listen to music we downloaded offline, which is super convenient in situations where I need entertainment but not having a wifi connection. In conclusion, I have realized how much music impacts my life and how fast it has evolved, it serves as motivation and a way to enlighten my day, and it has created countless jobs for people all around the world too. Music always has been, and always will be a cornerstone of an achievement in human history for me.
